Welcome to my blog, let's get to know one another!

So, first thing's first: My name is Kimberly, but I go by Kim, Kimmie, Kimber, depending on who you talk to. I am a mom to two boys, currently 8 and 3. I am married to a Marine, and in February 2017 we'll be celebrating 11 years. My hobby is most definitely makeup. I love to play around and discover new looks, and I also love to collect (read: hoard) everything I possibly can!

I watch a lot of Youtube videos, as I'm sure many of you that have found this blog do, so it'll come as no surprise as I go through my collection to write my reviews, that I have a ton. Don't we all? Or aren't we all headed that direction? I enjoy following several beauty gurus on Youtube and every time they mention something they love, I have to go out and get it. Now, I'm not naive enough to think that everything they say they love are truly the very best. Because, let's be honest, most of what they get, they get for free. A lot of what they get, they're asked to mention. And it seems like most of them don't want to say the wrong things and burn a bridge with a company. I'm not saying they all do that, or even that they lie to us about the products they love. But, don't you think you'd love something a little more if you didn't have to pay for it? Maybe not. But, I think while they're trying to do their best with their opinions, they also don't want to hurt feelings so they'll come off loving something a little more than may be necessary. I'd like to be another perspective as someone that spent my own money on something, and let you all know if it was truly worth the price, and if I'd purchase again. 

So, as time goes on, I look forward to sharing most of my collection and even getting some suggestions from readers that want to see an honest opinion. 

It's funny, because although there may be some things that I don't love, or wouldn't purchase again, the thought of getting rid of it makes me anxious. What's wrong with me?! Haha! But, because I really enjoy collecting and making my stash grow and grow, I'll keep things even if I don't love them- bonus points for the company if they have extra pretty packaging!

So, my plan is to make individual posts for each product, so that they're easier to find. If there is a special, limited edition collection that comes out, I will probably group the collection into one post. Stay with me and watch me grow!
